That February night, a young French man who had just arrived in Montreal met a lovely woman from Turkey. They both went on that first date unaware that this simple encounter would change their lives forever. Hours passed as they talked, shared stories, discovered common interests, and connected deeply despite their different backgrounds. When the evening came to an end, they parted ways with a promise to see each other again.
Soon a second date happened, then a third, when Alexis asked Alara to be his Valentine, and she happily accepted. After Valentine’s Day, the newly formed couple never really left each other’s side. They spent their days laughing, eating, traveling, and simply enjoying life together. What began as a romance quickly grew into a deep friendship, two best friends, two Valentines, cherishing every moment in each other’s company.
As their story unfolded, they met each other’s families, parents, siblings, and grandparents, visited hometowns and countries, and continued to understand and love one another more with each passing day. In August 2024, during their first long trip together, while attending a friend’s wedding, Alexis made a promise that one day it would be their turn. Several months later, he kept that promise. En août 2024, lors de leur premier long voyage ensemble, alors qu'ils assistaient au mariage d'un ami, Alexis fit une promesse : qu'un jour, ce serait leur tour. Kısa süre sonra ikinci buluşmaları, ardından üçüncü buluşmaları oldu; Alexis Alara'ya Sevgililer Günü için birlikte olmalarını teklif etti ve Alara sevinçle kabul etti. Sevgililer Günü sonrası, yeni çift neredeyse hiç ayrılmadı. Günlerini birlikte gülerek, yemek yiyerek, seyahat ederek ve hayatın tadını çıkararak geçirdiler.
